CoreLoop Update v1.3 - Seekers and Fixes
--Update v1.3--
Not a very large update this week, but a few different bugs and rates that needed to be adjusted/fixed. I did manage to squeeze a little bit of new content into the update. Listed below are all the changes.
--Bugfixes/QoL--
Starting speed of Orbiters has been increased to make early game not as slow.
Speed cap has been increased ten fold.
Speed function will never attempt to apply to already max speed Orbiter.
Point multiplication rate for "add Orbiter" has been lowered.
All buttons will disable if lacking required points for upgrade.
"Points" text has been adjusted to hopefully not glitch out after 1000 points, causing a "flickering" effect.
--New Content--
Seekers! Your Core has grown strong and began to attract "Seekers".
Once a certain points threshold has been reached (50), for now, there will be a chance for a group of Seekers to be spawned. These Seekers will actively move toward the Core. Clicking/tapping the Seekers will award the player points. The max amount of Seekers at chance of spawning will increase with points growth. Being as this is new content being added, there will continue to be adjustments needed to be made to ratios and balance. In spirit of keeping the game true to its AFK origin, the Seekers will not harm the Core only create more interactions, points, and visuals for the player.
